Images published on Hyundai's South Korean website have given us a look at the facelifted 2024 Tucson before details of the updated mid-size SUV are fully confirmed.
While changes to the Tucson's exterior are apparently minor, the Hyundai SUV's interior appears to have been given a more significant overhaul.
Images of the Tucson aren't accompanied by anything in the way of information, but given it's a facelift rather than a new generation, we would expect existing drivetrains to remain relatively unchanged.
Currently, the rival to the Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5 is available with a choice of three engines in Australia - a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder powering the front wheels with 115kW and 192Nm, an all-wheel drive turbocharged 1.6-litre four version with 132kW and 265Nm and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel version with 137kW/416Nm.
However, a hybrid version of the Tucson currently available overseas is also confirmed for Australia, with a 44kW electric motor added to the existing turbo 1.6-litre unit for a total 168kW/349Nm.
It uses the brand's six-speed automatic transmission and HTRAC all-wheel-drive system.
A Hyundai Australia spokesperson confirmed to CarsGuide the facelifted Tucson will arrive here in mid-2024, with the hybrid set to join the line-up with it.
While the rest of the range should remain similar in terms of drivetrains, its interior takes a step into the same realm as the likes of the Ioniq 5 electric car or new Kona small SUV, with twin-screens for multimedia and driver display in a single long unit and climate controls underneath in the centre of the dash.
A wireless charging pad takes up some prime real estate next to the cupholders, while the steering wheel has been updated to the round version seen in new Hyundai models.
While a fairly vague global press release has been issued to explain some of the design changes, aimed at European customers, little in the way of features and specification has been confirmed.
Expect to see more details of the updated Tucson soon, with Australian timing and pricing (likely slightly higher) to follow afterwards.
